鹿児島県奄美大島出身。

ペインティング、ドローイング、映像、粘土などを用い、自分のなかにある心地よさの感覚をたよりに、線や形、配色を探りながら制作。 柔らかな曲線を帯びたフォルムを「細胞」と捉え、それらが連なり、影響し合う様子を抽象的な形として描いている。

イラストレーションや生成AIを用いた作品にも取り組み、描いたものを起点に、さまざまな表現へと展開している。

Working across painting, drawing, video, clay, and other media, SHIS explores lines, forms, and color combinations through a personal sense of comfort.Softly curved forms are seen as “cells,” taking shape as abstract forms that connect and influence one another.
 

Illustration and generative AI also provide ways to develop various forms of expression from original drawings.
